Such a Time as This

“…Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

When I read at LEAST 4 different translations of the Bible those 5 words never changed.

Such a Time as This.

We all have different times in our lives. I would like to hone in on our own personal TIME currently. For Esther is was her time as Queen. She was given the opportunity to save her people’s (the Jews) lives. It came at GREAT risks, but she was put there for a reason.

What time are you living now?

Personally, my time is being at home seeing hearts break over social media. I see pain in Ukraine with war and uncertainty. I see lives shattered in Uvalde, Texas. Feeling helpless as I send my 2 children to their last days of school PRAYING that devastation doesn’t cross their paths. Life isn’t all ugly and painful, but let’s be honest… The ugly stuff tends to pop out more than the good.

I’d like to encourage you to close your eyes and reflect on YOUR TIME SUCH AS THIS. Think of the things that make you smile, make you feel Blessed, the positivity of YOUR time. Breathe through it all;

Don’t rush yourself.

Now embrace everything. What else floods your mind? What pains feel out of your control? What breaks your heart? What equips fear to take over your mind?

…Breathe…

…Now stop.

YOU, my friend, were made for Such a Time as This. Not by yourself, but with God. Think of it as an honor that God put you in this exact uncomfortable position of life to bring good to hurting people. Instead of feeling overtaken by the negative STOP, Breathe, and ask for guidance.

“You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
Matthew 21:22

You WILL receive guidance if you ask for it. God WILL show you what He wants you to do. You will have this immense peace overtake you as you take action. Dear friend, this is your time.

Such a Time as This

It may be as small as waving to each neighbor that passes you in your driveway, or making it a priority to eat dinner as a family. Our times are different, but we are all working towards a greater good. Showing Love to everyone around us. I pray that everyone who takes the time to read this may feel empowered to do what may feel uncomfortable, and receive peace from the Holy Spirit. The world needs all of us working together for the greater good. God Bless you and your endeavors.
